Interzona – Outerzona
Europe Grand Central platform training to explore the coming changes at Interzona culture center
Almost 35 years ago, seven pioneering non-governmental cultural centres from seven different countries established Trans Europe Halles (TEH). They believed that culture should support a pluralistic, free and developmental society. A society in which borders would not be necessary anymore. We at TEH know that non-governmental cultural centres are open hubs that spur creativity and innovation, as well as key drivers of active citizenship. As spaces for artistic and cultural development, they have the power to change perceptions, people and ultimately societies. That's what we are doing as a hub in the Global Grand Central platform. We help developing the platform to become more inclusionary and open. We also help Global Grand Central to become more visible in the cultural sector.
