A story from Stateless in Jordan

This is where UNRWA gives the poor people food. Every three months they give three kilos rice, three kilos sugar, two kilos
peas, one kilo milk, one liter oil, and 7 dinars per family. My mother stands in the line. You go in the morning and leave in the afternoon. It makes me feel as if I am decimated by them. You need their money, you need their food. At the same time you cannot say no.

Story told by Safiah Salem, living as stateless in the "Gaza" refugee camp in Jarash, Jordan.
